As Featured in Business Insider: The Story Behind Our AI C-Suite

“As featured in Business Insider” isn’t something I ever expected I’d be able to say about myself, especially as a small business owner. But 2026 has been a year of reaching for new and exciting opportunities, and I’m so excited to share that I was interviewed as part of the BI Tiny Teams series, where Business Insider editor Agnes Applegate talks with small business owners and entrepreneurs about their relationships with AI. I reached out to Agnes to pitch my story about how I balance using AI for strategic and operational efficiency with being in a creative field.

The Business Insider piece dives into the story of how my hesitancy around using AI has shaped how I use it and where I draw the line. By building out an “AI C-suite,” I’ve been able to give myself operational support for the parts of running a business I never had formal training in: financial analysis, long-term planning, marketing strategy.
