Sara – Founder & Creator

Hi! I'm Sara, the founder of Mainland Vintage Bath & Body Boutique. I've been making soap, bath salts, reed diffusers and other bath & body products since 2020 (a COVID hobby turned business!). With a passion for branding, marketing, and all things DIY and handcrafted, I've built Mainland Vintage to blend my love of vintage aesthetics with unique and high-quality handmade products.

Every product is handcrafted in our Brooklyn-based production studio, and you can find us online, at NYC markets, and in retail shops across the US.

Rose – Production Assistant

Rose met Sara while featuring Mainland Vintage on Loving Local NYC, her film project highlighting local businesses in New York. She joined the team during the holiday rush in 2022, and with the company growing so much, she never left!

When she's not spotlighting local makers or making soaps, you can find her working on DIY projects or walking her cat.

Perri – Production Assistant

In 2023, Perri asked Sara to stock Mainland Vintage products in her gift shop. When Sara was looking to add a second production assistant to the studio in 2025, Perri eagerly reached out to fill the spot. As someone naturally curious and adept at learning new skills, Perri has enjoyed stepping away from her role as shop owner to put on her production hat and help Sara grow her company.

Katya – Social Media and Content Creator

Katya met Sara in late 2025, and has been filming the viral ASMR soap cutting videos you know and love! She's helped reshape Mainland Vintage's online presence, growing our following to over 20k with a whole new visual style across social.

When she isn't filming content, you can find her at the movie theater or posting film reviews.

Tom – Operations Specialist (& Emotional Support Husband)

Tom is an electrical engineer, software developer, and ever-supportive husband of a small business owner. When he's not exploring the city, building interactive electronics displays, or getting lost in a good book, he's helping carry products down three flights of stairs and off to markets, a true behind-the-scenes MVP.
